Online Storage
All campus users are allocated a personal network drive of available storage. This is mapped as the J: drive, and can be reached from My Computer. Students can access the J: drive from the general access labs on campus; staff and faculty can also access it through their work computers or using VPN (https://vpn.smu.ca:10443) from a home computer. EIT also provides departmental shared drives, used for sharing files within an individual department. If you need access to your department's shared drive or wish to have one set up, please fill out the Fileshare Creation/Modification Form, get it signed by your Department Head, and submit it to Help Desk.
