Services for Faculty, Staff & Students
Saint Mary's has hundreds of general access computers on campus, which allow you to access Internet, email, software, and printer services. Use your computer account to log into these computers.
There are general access labs on campus and common computing areas available to students:
Loyola and Sobey Labs: L182, L278, SB155
McNally Labs: ME009*, ME011
Atrium Ground Floor*
The Arts Common (MM214B)
Engineering Lab (MM305)
* SMU Student ID required between 11pm and 6am.
To log in into a lab computer:
- On the first screen press CTRL+ALT+DEL.
- Enter your computer account username (eg. s1234567).
- Enter your password.
- Ensure that the Domain is showing SMUNET.
- Press Enter.
- This will bring you to the Windows desktop.

Fri. - 8am - 5pm
Weekends and Holidays - Closed
McNally Labs (ME009 - "The Den", ME011)
Mon. - Fri. - 6am - 11pm
Weekends and Holidays - ME009 open 6am - 11pm, ME011 Closed
Atrium and McNally East wing kiosks
Mon. - Sun., Weekends and Holidays - Open 24 hours
* SMU Student ID required between 11pm and 6am.
Please Note: The Loyola/Sobey Complex labs are not accessible during December closure.
General access computers are available in the Patrick Power Library as well.
Availability During Exams:
Same as above except that ME009 - "The Den" is open 24/7
