HOW TO SUBMIT A SERVICE REQUEST
1) Visit our Main Homepage "smu.ca/smuit" or click here
2) Click on "Submit a Service Request"
3) Select a template that fits your ticket/issue
4) If no template fits your issue then please use the "General Requests" template
5) Sign in with your SMU email and password
6) Create a Title and Description that best fits your ticket/issue
7) Add videos or photos regarding your ticket/issue if possible
8) Include the asset tag if the ticket/issue involves a SMU owned device
9) Click "Request" and you are all done!
HOW TO VIEW SUBMITTED SERVICE REQUESTS
This is a very similar process to the one above. Follow the instructions below:
1) Visit our Main Homepage "smu.ca/smuit" or click here
2) Click on "View My Service Requests" to see a list of your submitted tickets
- Afterwards, select the "Title" of the ticket you want to view or comment on
- Finally, you can add attachments, withdraw the request, add alerts to the ticket
- To comment on the ticket, scroll down to the bottom of the page
