Step 2: Follow the instructions until you get this windows shown in the screen-shot below, then choose the location of your file or where you want to save it to whether it is "Desktop," "Documents," or "Downloads" then click Open and follow the instructions on the screen.

Step 3: Once you have the app open, click on "File" on the top left of the app (this is common across all apps in appsanywhere)

Step 4: Choose "Open" then "Browse" if you want to open an existing file on your computer. Choose "Save As" (NOT "Save") if want to save a file that you were working on.

Step 5: Once the window shown below opens, click the arrow facing right next to "This PC" if it's not dropped down already.

Step 6: in the drop down list, click on "Drives on 'yourusername' Mac" then double-click on the location of where you want to save/open the file.

Note: In some other apps like SPSS have a minor difference in the user interface. In the screen shot below shows you where to find "Drives on 'your username' Mac" to find or save files.

Now you can see saved files on your Macbook location or open them from their location on Mac.
