Microphones

Rooms that have microphones installed.
Most have a podium mic .
Additional preprogramed microphones for theatres can be booked/borrowed through classroom support at SB 257.

McNally main Theatre:
Wireless Hand held (x2)
Lavaliere (clip on style, x2)
Up to three of the four can be used in any combination.
* Two mic inputs at podium for wired mics. Two in the tired section for QandA. Four pockets on the stage for wired mics.

Loyola 290:
Wireless Hand Held (x1) Lav (x1)
* One wall input for wired Mics.

Sobey 201: Wireless Hand Held (x1) Lav (x1)
* Three wall inputs for wired mics.

Burke Theatre A and B:
One Wireless Headset mic shared between the two rooms.
No additional microphones can be added in these rooms. Burke theatre A can have the headset OR a podium mic on a stand.

Webcams

We have a small selection of webcams (with built-in mics) available for loan if you need to make a Video Conference call using a classroom PC. (classroom PC's do not have microphones or cameras built in)

Adaptors

We have a selection of different adaptors for various laptops, including DisplayPort, HDMI, Thunderbolt (Mac), USB Type-C, VGA and more.

Portable PA system

We have two different PA systems.

Small guitar amplifier with wired microphone and stand. (x2)
*These can be borrowed at SB 257.

Small PA system with wireless microphones.
*Can not be borrowed and must be set up and torn down by Classroom Support. Offered for audio support in rooms or small event spaces. Not to exceed 40 people. Outside contractors can support larger functions.
*Please contact Classroom Support to arrange and we can work with you to identify needs per event.

Projectors and Screens

Faculty and student organizations can borrow projectors and stand up screens.

Standard projector has HDMI and VGA inputs and will include all cables necessary for hook up and power in the bag.
*must be picked up and dropped off at SB 257

Video Conference Equipment

Video conferencing equipment.
Tripods, cameras, and boundary microphones are available for staff and student organizations.
We will show you how to use the gear but it is up to the individual to choose what software service they would like to use.

*Equipment can be reserved by calling Classroom Support at 420-5558 or by visiting SB 257 and must be picked up and dropped off.
