AppsAnywhere Parallels Validating Issue on Macs

If a client is having trouble validating their SMU account via Parallels when using AppsAnyhwere, do the following:

  • Go to Settings - Desktop & Dock
  • Scroll down to Default web browser
  • Change it to Safari (Edge or Firefox could work as well)

The users should now be able to validate their SMU account on Parallels.

Google Chrome blocks access to the Parallels website for some reason, hence the issue.
