Faculty/Staff Mobility Print

EIT has implemented a new componet of Papercut, Mobility Print will allow you to print over campus WiFi as well as the wired network from a SMU owned or personal device (BYOD - bring your own device) to select list of SMU Faculty/Staff printers.

This additional functionality will work with devices running Windows OS/MacOS/iOS/AndroidOS, below is a dynamic link that will provide you OS specific instructions along with a helpful video to guide you through the process of leveraging PaperCut Mobility Print. Simply follow the instructions in the link below and find the printer that you wish to print to.

**** Please note - Faculty/Staff can only print to printers on the SMU-PRT-OFF server. ****

Below is a screen shot which highlights where to look to confirm you have access to the printer, in conjuction with implementing Mobility Print. EIT is also implementing Papercut Find Me printing to simplify and limit the number of printers listed. As seen below the FACSTAFF-FINDME print queue is a virtual print queue that will route jobs to anyone of 43 different Konica MFP printers on campus. If you print your job to this print queue, it will be held as paused in the queue until you login to one of the Konica MFPs on the list below, when you login to any of the MFPs on the list, your job will be released. There will no longer be a need to install or print to a particular printer that you want to pick your job up at!
