Please note that you must be running High Sierra or later version of the Mac OS.
1. Go to https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn
2. Click on the Download button under Download VPN for MacOS.
3. After downloading the .dmg file, double click on it and open it. You should see a FortiClientUpdate file in a folder. Run it.
4. If any message pops up asking if you want to open it. Click on Open.
5. The Forticlient installer will start downloading. Let it finish downoading and then press on Install.
6. Follow the next few screenshots as shown below to finish the installation.
***NOTE - if you see a security warning during installation, please 'allow' the FortiTray***
7. When prompted for a password, put in your computer's password.
8. After the installation is complete, go to your Launchpad (All Apps section) and you should see Forticlient over there. Click on it.
9. Follow the next few screenshots below to configure Forticlient.
10. Make sure your configuration is just as shown above. Then click on Save.
11. Click on SAML Login
12. If presented with a certificate warning the first time after installation, please accept the certificate by clicking Yes
13. Enter your SMU credentials, select sign-in and approve MFA request is promted.
14. After a successful authentication you will be connected to VPN
